EUGENE, Ore. Eastern Kentucky University senior Ole Hesselbjerg cruised to third place in his heat of the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase semifinals on Wednesday night at the Division I NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at historic Hayward Field. In doing so, Hesselbjerg automatically advanced to the finals of the event, which will be held Friday night at around 8:00 p.m. ET.
